What to expect
CSV is the universal import format: almost every CRM, mailing tool, accounting system and database accepts it. The export uses UTF-8 and standard quoting, so names with accents and values containing commas survive the import.
Values are exported the way they're displayed in the sheet, so dates and currency keep their formatting. Empty rows are skipped. Formulas are exported as their calculated results.
Only the first sheet is exported. Move the sheet you need to the front of the workbook before converting.
Tip: most import tools expect one header row followed by data. Delete title rows or notes above the table first.
