How to use Compress PDF on iPhone
- Tap the button, then Choose File, and pick the document from the Files app, iCloud Drive or a saved email attachment.
- Wait a moment while the file is converted.
- Download the PDF. On iPhone it goes to Files › Downloads, and Safari's download list at the top of the screen.
Can iPhone do this on its own?
iOS has no option to reduce a PDF's size. If an email or upload form rejects a big PDF on your iPhone, compressing it here in Safari is the quickest fix without installing an app.
