How to use PDF to Word on iPhone
- Tap the button, then Choose File, and pick the document from the Files app, iCloud Drive or a saved email attachment.
- Wait a moment while the file is converted.
- Download the DOCX. On iPhone it goes to Files › Downloads, and Safari's download list at the top of the screen.
Can iPhone do this on its own?
iOS can show and mark up PDFs but can't turn them into Word documents. Copying text from the PDF viewer works for a line or two; for anything with tables or layout, convert the whole file here in Safari.
Opening the result on iPhone
Your DOCX is saved to Files › Downloads, and Safari's download list at the top of the screen. Tap it in Files or Mail to preview it, or open it in the Word or Pages app to edit.
