What to expect
Every page is drawn at 150 DPI, which is sharp on screens and fine for most printing. A one-page PDF gives you a single JPG; a longer document gives you a ZIP with one numbered image per page, so they stay in order.
JPG is the best choice for pages with photos, because it keeps files small. For pages that are mostly text, line drawings or diagrams, PNG keeps edges crisper with no compression artifacts.
On most computers this runs entirely in your browser: the PDF is never uploaded. Very large files or slower devices are handled on our server instead, where the file is kept in memory and deleted after you download.
