How to use Merge PDF on iPhone
- Tap the button, then Choose File, and pick the document from the Files app, iCloud Drive or a saved email attachment.
- Wait a moment while the file is converted.
- Download the PDF. On iPhone it goes to Files › Downloads, and Safari's download list at the top of the screen.
Can iPhone do this on its own?
The Files app can combine documents: select the PDFs, tap the three dots and choose Create PDF. It's handy, but you can't easily control the order, which this tool lets you do.
Opening the result on iPhone
Your PDF is saved to Files › Downloads, and Safari's download list at the top of the screen. Tap it in Mail, Messages or the Files app; iOS shows it with the built-in viewer, and you can mark it up with the pen tool.
